Feeling Off? Start Here: How One Small Swap Can Make a Big Difference
Feeling Off But Not Sure Where to Start? Here’s How to Take Your First Step Toward Wellness
Have you ever felt like something just isn’t quite right, but you’re not sure what to change or where to begin? I used to think that I needed to overhaul my entire life to start feeling better. Spoiler alert: that mindset left me feeling overwhelmed and defeated.
Instead, I learned that small, gradual changes are key to building a sustainable, feel-good lifestyle. So, if you’re feeling off and don’t know where to start, here's my advice: start with one small swap.
One Small Swap Can Lead to Big Changes
When I first started my wellness journey, I realized it wasn’t about making huge, dramatic changes overnight. That’s a quick path to burnout and frustration. Instead, it was about making simple, manageable adjustments that added up over time.
For me, those small swaps looked like this:
Adding leafy greens to one meal a day – Whether it’s spinach in my smoothie or a handful of kale in my salad, adding more greens to my diet was a simple but effective way to nourish my body with essential nutrients.
Swapping one drink for water or herbal tea with lemon – Hydration is a game-changer for energy, digestion, and overall wellness. I made the simple swap of drinking water or a calming cup of herbal tea instead of sugary drinks or coffee. It’s a simple step that had a big impact.
Finding a simple gut-supporting drink that gives me fiber + prebiotics – It’s easy to overlook gut health, but taking care of your gut can make a world of difference in how you feel. I found a drink that not only supports my gut health but also actually tastes good. (And, if you’re curious, feel free to message me. I’d be happy to share what it is!)
It Doesn’t Have to Be Dramatic. It Just Has to Be Doable.
I’m a big believer in the idea that wellness doesn’t have to be complicated. It doesn’t require dramatic changes that leave you feeling burned out. What matters most is choosing what’s doable and sustainable for you.
That’s how I’ve built a lifestyle that feels good. And that’s how I help other women make simple, lasting changes without feeling overwhelmed.
Start with one small swap. You don’t need to change everything at once. Progress, not perfection, is what matters most.
